Am CH Southamptons Belaire CD AX OAJ, liver and white male

(December 1996 - July 2004)

"Will" came to me as a baby puppy in March of 1997. At the tender age of 7 months he was awarded a 5 point major. These were the first points, and thus the first major win, of which I was ever a part. Will went on to finish his championship in grand style with three more majors . He was always and only owner-handled by me and went on to be the first dog that I ever put the following agility titles on: NA, NAJ, OA, OAJ, and AX. Will also earned his CD in obedience with a high score of 193.5. No matter whether it's agility or obedience, Will will always be special because he was, above all else, the *first* :-)

At the age of 3 1/2 years old, Will had his first seizure. In addition, Will had some behavioral issues which escalated and eventually resulted in his euthanization in July 2004.

This dog was my "heart dog" and I devoted much of my life and countless hours trying to figure out what made him tick. He was truly special to me, and I owe him everything that this "doggie path" of my life may ever bring.
